Stupid question?

OK, I've been staring at this for a while now and can't seem to figure it out.... On the ends of both my Warbonnet XL sock and Chill Gorilla OH HELL NO! bug net there are brass rings. The net came with a length of cordage and the sock was bought through here, and no directions with either. So, how are these little rings used? Idk why I cant see it but, its just not coming to me lol. Somebody please show me a pic and give me an explanation lol. I feel like a moron! Thanks!

I assume the rings are there to provide an attachment point in case you want to tension the ends of the net. If you do not use a ridge line, some hammock/hang angle combinations can allow too much droop in the net.

Thanks. Thats what I thought but wasn't totally sure. I just found a pic, you mean something like this: CBCCA0EE-1497-4553-99FC-0BA61077CD9A_zpsefsmntkx.jpg .
The net has the same kind of rings, only brass in color and came with a hank of cordage but no directions on how to use it. The website says its doesn't require a separate RL, so that's why I was kinda confused.

If you catch the brass ring you get a free ride.

I think you are supposed to attach shock cord to those rings and run them up to the trees at an angle to give the sock vertical support/lift.
