Great video and great backyard. Thanks for shareing, did you use a CCF pad in your foot box? If not that may help. Those were some great shots of opie's ridge line, what is the length of the cord? Looking forward to more videos to come,
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Actually, I forgot to show what I used in the video. It's a custom, one-piece, DIY reflective layer set in a KAQ-style UQ shell with a mesh layer between the reflective material and the hammock. It was made by MacIntyre, ...of course. It's great as a supplementary layer or by itself in warmer weather. It's made to fit a Hennessy but fits in the slot on the Warbonnet double-layer perfectly; in the foot-box specifically, if angled properly.

So a neglected shout-out to Mac, as well!

    Thanks for the great story!

I was out stealthing that night, and it only got down to 17 deg. but, the snow was knee deep, and it was perfectly quiet out there. I notice your MSR shoes, I have the Evo's and they are great. Inside my hammock, the condensation was wet, but vents points were iced, so inside hammock temperatures were pretty warm.

It was another "condensation vs. down" challenge, and, my down shows a little loss here and there, but will loft back out. A multi-day hike would be a problem.
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.

Yeah, I LOVE those MSR Denali EVOs, got twigged to those by watching Turk's videos before I came out here to Maine.

Didn't have a condensation problem; it seems like the air was just so very dry that it cancelled that out. But keep in mine that I wasn't rigged with an overcover of any sort, and the tarp was pitched "porch-fashion" so, I guess that you could sa I was rerlatively exposed to the temps that night.

The Superfly is the stealthy Grey-Green color, and the S-biners are the No. 1 size:

Anyone know if the above stealthy Grey-Green color is what Brandon is calling Grey on his new website? Thanks.

Yep, that's it. If you check out the color of my tarp in the video and look at the Superfly photos on the Warbonnet Outdoors Tarps page, you'll see that they are the same color.

Loved the video. Nice place ya got there! I think I'd be sleeping outside quite often if I lived there.
