    Thanks, I'll check it out.

Talk to Gargoyle...he hangs in a Honda Odyssey. And he makes 2 of you.
I'll look through and find his posts, thanks!

Run a string from the four potential hang points at the front and rear of the interior frame of the van. Measure it and grab some polyester from walmart or wherever. Figure out how to put an anchor at each spot and then sew up something to match. If not have someone sew it. Sleep in it a few nights and you'll have tons more data on what's going to work. A gathered end should be easy, but you've got the potential for something cooler. Research the the old Hennessy's with the entrance in the bottom of the Hammock. Good luck. Don't forget about insulation.
yeah, i think there are some interesting options. I'm really liking the 4 point attachment idea. As others mentioned, I'll have to figure out attachment options to take rain into account (outside straps), but I'm trying to not make any permanent changes to the van as I want to sell it when I'm done.

I've spent the last 20 years flying around the world in C-130's. I started hanging a hammock above the cargo ramp as soon as we reached altitude. After fighting freezing butt syndrome for years, my research led me here - to my wallet's regret. I've rarely experienced better sleep than swinging gently at 30K feet to the rumble of the Herky-bird's engines!

Maybe try a fold down bed, when not in use the space is available for a chair and table.

This was done by a friend with a sprinter van but could be adapted for others

Good luck with your van life! I don't see why a bridge wouldn't work in a van, if you modify the dog bones to anchor in the corners. you wouldn't really need the suspension triangle or spreader bars) Clark used to offer a hammock that didn't have spreader bars but anchored to 3 trees instead---same idea. (I didn't see it on their website this morning) You might have to go the diy route-but that's not a bad thing! (also, talk to "professor hammock" aka grizz and see if he has any input-) I even saw a diy model one time that was a bridge but had the bottom entry like a hennessy! Good luck!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I know this is the antithesis of "Stealth" and not really hammock related but I thought it was cool enough to share. Believe it or not, they make one for a motorcycle LOL.

Beer and pizza runs might be problematic.

I know it's blasphemy on a hammock site, but when we have to tent camp my wife and kids use a cot. It's kind of a ground hammock. We bought 3 of the $30 Kamprite cots that pack down fairly small and I was surprised at what a good sleep I had on one. They're really light, so you could store it on the wall or hang it on the ceiling of the van when not in use. Check out the youtube channel for "IAmJake" he's touring the U.S. in a Jeep CJ sleeping on a cot in his jeep. There's no room in a jeep, so if he can do it you can.
