Starting to plan building another hammock, I want a 2 way separating zipper by the foot(or yard). What's out there for a reasonable price? Is there something specific I need to look for? I'm planning on a fully removable bug net. Any and all tips, tricks and insults are accepted!

Generally you can't buy then by the foot or yard. They have to be premade and have set lengths. Do you want the opening to be in the middle or do you want the two sliders to go all the way to one end like a ski jacket? Typical price for a separating zipper that opens in the middle it $9.

I just finished a DIY hammock with a DIY zipper with dual pulls that open in the center. Mine happens to be fully removable as well but the build would be the same. I bought standard #3 coil zipper and zipper pulls and modified the ends so they separate leaving the bug removable. The pulls stay on the net.
