This was my first buy, and I'm very pleased. Another member recommended them to me. I'll use 'em again.

Good to hear. I'm going to put in an oder for a few items... I'll report how it goes.

    Dave,

How would you rate the condition of the ICW bag you ordered from WS?

These folks have a nice price on a never issued patrol bag...the outer bag of the 4 part modular system. Thoug I have yet to confirm it, the one I have seems plenty warm for moderate temps and light, a bit bulky but light. Have never issued ICWs too.

the patrol bag is not bulky at all its comparable to my old 30* down bag. the patrol bag and bivvy fit snug in an 8x14 stuff sack, it is a little heavier than the down, but down south alot more trustworthy. as for the ICW it fits nice in a 10x20 sack, and has a double weight foot box. both bags are massive I am 6'1" and could swim in them. the new bags are a vast improvement over the old canvas monsters.

I see the sleep system at MI has a right hand zipper.
Has the system changed from the center zip?
    Or am I confused again

yes they completely redesigned the system, the new one has a 3/4 right zipper, a far superior fill, and weighs half as much. not to mention the size difference.

It is clean, functional, and in good repair. I am pleased with everything but the size. I'll be selling it, I imagine.
