Sounds like fun! I'm staying w/ a crew of non-roughing it folks at my cousin's house, about an hour away. If I didn't already have plans, I would've considered crashing your great eclipse viewing location. Can't wait to see the trip report.
We are hoping to get a little hiking in around the lake Toxaway area. I hear there are plenty of waterfalls to chase.

I just got in a order of Eclipse glasses. So we should have about 25 as needed. This is a special place and an epic situation! Tis should be fun!
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.”

My Wife and I would like to join you guys, if you don't mind. We have a couple of fur babies that will be joining us. Let me know and we will start making the plans for this truly once in a lifetime event.
