Hey ya'll. I'm on the other side of Moses Lake and would like to know where in Wenatchee you can hang?
Not many places to hang right around Wenatchee as it is mostly bare hills. However, less than 20 miles west there are countless places to hike in the Cascades. Tons of stuff around Leavenworth and lots of alpine lakes along Hwy 90.
I did the Melakwa Lake area the other week and it was gorgeous.
I'm outside of Moses Lake. Ready to FREEZE.
I am off the next 5 days and was thinking of hanging up by Clara Lake, right next to Mission Ridge. About 10 miles outside Wenatchee. I snowed here the other day but most has melted off already. I was told they keep the campgrounds open around Lake Wenatchee year round and they have some good spots as well.
I will check on that. I have Fri /Sat to play with. Thanks.
