oak creek advanced rainfly...$55 on Amazon

Not an ad.....bought 2 for use in winter, 360 degree to the ground rainfly, like a wall tent without floor....(I stink at posting pics)

Amazon, or google "Oak Creek advanced rainfly".....

posted this because my wife and I have been looking for this type of fly for a long time. Not ultralight by any means but for winter use, car camping, it will be perfect!

It's only 110" long. A very tight squeeze for an 11-foot hammock with a 110" ridge line.

Haha well you know how weak that sandy soil can be. 6'' ought to get it done.

I would normally make fun of something like this, but for the price and hottent-ish look and feel, it may be a neat option in the winter. And before someone calls me out after not reading my whole post, of course it's NOT a hot tent and should have no kind of stove inside.

An extra foot in length would have been nice.

I picked one of these up for some hammock car camping...
It arrived yesterday. Hope to give it a test in a couple of weeks.

I do plan on using a continuous ridge line instead of the provided suspension.
My assumption is that it will provide less stress on the tarp.

    Looks very cool, but small.

My thought too. A stove jack DIY'd into this and a stove, with a 10' hammock made from a wide material.......it could work??
