    COGS tarps a hit here!

So my daughter has been at Girl Scout camp for a month doing the Junior Maine Guide program. What an amazing experience that was! She learned so much! Anyways, she wanted to sleep in her hammock last night and I said, well, it's supposed to rain tonight, so how about tomorrow night? She replied, we have tarps, who cares about the rain? Good point little one, good point. So we set up our hammocks and custom COGS tarps by Coleman lantern light and got all settled in for the night. About 11:20pm it started raining and I didn't care in the least!

Thank you Chad at Colorado Outdoor Gear Supply for great tarps that keep us dry in the summer and warm in the winter!

That's great to hear Curly! I'm so glad you and your daughter are getting to spend some time in the great outdoors together and even more that you are under some COGS tarps!

    Thanks again,
    Chad

My girl slept out in her WBBB Wednesday and Thursday nights with no tarp, had some canine type animal growl at her during the night, then it was slated to rain Friday so she set up her COGS 12' winter tarp and at her request, given her growl encounter, I set up my XLC and 12' COGS hex tarp. As I was guying it out, it started raining. Well I'll tell you, it rained from 9am Friday morning until sometime during the night quite torrential!! If it wasn't raining the wind was blowing water off the trees and we were getting pummeled! Hammocks were nice and dry! So glad we got the 12' tarps from COGS!!

Side note: I have the Dutch Tarp Flyz and Zingit on the ridgeline D rings and braided mason line using tautline hitches on the guy outs. Seems to be working great. I like the mason line better than that Niteize green reflective stuff that seems to catch on everything.

I played with braided mason line for a year and went back to Zing It as the braided mason line had a major issue with becoming a birds nest of tangles.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

I haven't found that as of yet. We'll see what happens. Next would be that glowire stuff I think.
