Hello All,
I have a HH Exped Asym and was wondering what type of fabric the thing is made from. Doesn't look like ripstop. I bought some fabric from a local store that looks just like the stuff my HH uses. Any thoughts?

According to the Hennessy website, it's 210D Oxford nylon.

I found this definition of oxford nylon on the web:
"A stiff, coarse nylon fabric with a basket-like weave and a durable finish. It's generally used for award, baseball or athletic style jackets. Not as smooth as a taffeta nylon."
So, I guess not. I'm not sure I could tell them apart.

I'm not familiar with Taslan but for oxford cloth think fine quality (Brooks Brothers) men's dress shirts. It is a very nice fabric.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
