Good finale, enjoyed the three videos as always. Beautiful country out there, I've been to the Olympic National Park four times, and wanted to see more but time ran out. Maybe in the coming year.........
Thanks for posting.
You had a lot of snow and water on your trip. I went around in 2015 when there was record low snow levels. I did the loop in early May and there was no snow and everything was dead and dry. No water at all between June Lake and the river. The little mt goat trails that go in and out of the drainages were not well travelled yet and were very sketchy if not dangerous.
Glad you enjoyed the trip and thanks for sharing some familiar scenery.

That was a nice series/edit of three videos. Looks like a really well earned trip. Really liked the lunch spot you had in the third video overlooking everything. The trails look to be dangerous too, nice they have those ropes to help you down sometimes.
Also, I like the underwater shots. That water was so clear!
Love seeing snow on a summer hike. Nice camerawork, especially like the part where you dunk your head in the water. What a view up there!
Thanks again for sharing your trip with us. Beautiful area with a ton of history. The lava fields were neat. What camera were you using to file your trip?
Thanks, I appreciate you giving me some feedback. That lunch area was The Headwaters of Ape Canyon. There is a spring Right beside that fall. Real pretty. Ape canyon is home to some interesting legends.
Two sets of ropes we used willingly, yep. Thanks Max, I do appreciate your comments.
I was mighty crispy that day after the desolation walk the day before. The last shade we had was in Sheep canyon. A dip in the first pool, was in order for the Benson Burner. Even though I was using sun screen bandanas, one wrapped around my neck, one in a fashion like Boomer was wearing. (a la Cascade Trekker.) A Water Crystal HAt, and an umbrella. I felt the symptoms of heat stress that night. Thanks Buddy.
I had so mush footage I left out, naming all the peaks. I was thinking, no one wants to hear me name all the peaks, even though that's my favorite past time (outside of family). LAva fields were so cool, so many little caves to be found in the fields around here.....If you dare to go there. We have some where your compass doesn't work it spins. Lakes that drain into the lava caves. Lake inside a cave.
I'm glad you love them, thank you for sharing that. I appreciate the love, I'm just coming up, I just started at the editing. I've been documenting stuff for a while, I just never have done editing until this JAnuary, and I've done it exactly how many videos I have. (Not very many). Thank you to you.
