Try doing a search for Permethrin on this forum. This has been covered dozens of times. By all means use this on all your gear as it works for the most part but spiders tend to ignore it in my experience.

    Sawyer spray bottle already mixed.
Buy Martins 10% Permethrin from Amazon. Mix 6 Oz with 1 gallon of water, put in spray bottle or 1-3 tank aprayer

Dunno about ants and pill bugs, but seems to work fine on Mossie's in TN

+1, and spiders will laugh at you after wrapping your whole rig in web like they did to me lol. But other bugs die with a quickness, I had dozens and dozens of dead bug carcasses on top of my XLC net when I woke up the morning after putting it on. I get Sawyer's from Walmart in the camping section. I use it on my hiking boots/shoes, pack , clothes, the outside of my UQ, and inside of my tarp too. Maybe a little overboard, but the more bugs I can kill or keep away, the less the spiders have to eat lol.

Nothing like the smell of permethrin in the morning to start your day. I set up all my camping gear, clothes ect that needs to be treated, mix up a batch and spray everything at one time. Repeat in the fall and spring as needed.

Oh, and I use the Sawyer Picardin for a repellent with the Permethrin. The Permethrin says repellent on it but it seems more of an insect killer only to me. Idk, maybe is just me? But using them together really knocks them down pretty good. Didn't Shug do a vid on this not too long ago? I think he uses Permethrin & Picardin together too?

I also use the Sawyers Premium Picaridin 20% pump spray for bugs. No more Deet for me since I tried the Picaradin.
