    Expedition 2.5 questions

Today I got a used Expedition 2.5. The guy I got it from said he thought it was about 10 years old, from the "pre asym" days. Some of the netting is coming out where it meets the seam, but that should be easily fixed. It's green and blue, and weighs 31oz without huggers or fly (he couldn't find them) Can any of you tell me anything about this model? Such as weight and height limit? The price was free, so I couldn't pass it up

I just got it strung up for the first time. I'm 6'1" and the length seems just a tad short. And the bottom entry is wierd But all in all it's really not too bad! It wont replace my WB's, but it will be a great spare / loaner hammock. I might just get the zipper mod done on it too. Or, I might just remove the netting completely.

I have the same hammock. The first thing I did was replace the fly that came with it. The newer models seems to have a larger rainfly.
I also put on a zipper mod myself. Took me a while to find a comfortable position. I'm about 5'10.

Does anyone knows whether this type of hammock is still compatible with the supershelter ?
