I took my Chameleon out to try this today but it was 97° and after a 7 mile hike I was soaked and I didn't want to stink up the hammock. Thanks for testing this out and reporting back.

Any concerns with the zipper hurting the 1.0 when leaning back and pressing the zipper into the fabric?

While that works for releasing the strain behind the knees, it still doesn't provide the back support that that warbonnet does. The reinforced bugnet gives a firm surface to lean on. I found that the lightweight mesh stretches too much to feel secure leaning against. Any ideas to remedy that?

Good point. I will definitely have to watch for any wear caused by the zipper.

Didn't really try using the net as a back rest. My main goal was to just have a comfy seat. But, laying horizontal on the doubled over fabric was very comfortable.
