    Well it looks like I found my new seamstress (or is it seamster) in town.
    You should go hang it up in the snow. With everything shutdown what else you got to go do.
    Great job on the tarp!

    Nice job! Yep...you will sure experience a feeling of pride and self confidence everytime you are lying under that tarp, or when it is shielding some of your friends from the elements. Good show mate.

    Haha definitely a seamSTER ! and I would hardly consider myself that. Some crooked seams? most def! But will it keep me dry? Let's hope!
    Can't hang today- had church this morning and just got home from UT- Fla game... pep band gets no rest .
    anyway. hope to soon!

    now I just have to do a set of quilts and I'll have completed an MYOG sleep setup! I'm thinkin 5oz. XP

    And be sure to make the UQ for the lowest temp you anticipate hanging in, then add 10%. just for insurance. if it is too, too much, you can always make a summer quilt later.KM

    WOOP WOOP! Just got my digital scale in the mail today... and 100' of black Amsteel Blue!
    Tarp+stuff sack (no lines/stakes) : 17.5 oz.
    Hammock: 11.9oz.
    Suspension (webbing+whoopie slings) : 8.02oz.
    Total: 37.42oz. -> 2lbs 5.42oz.

    Now I just have to do a set of quilts to replace my 55.2oz (3lbs. 7.2oz.) sleepingbag/peapod

    SWEET!

    It's a big campus - ~20-21,000 undergrad and ~5-6,000 graduate students.
    (I'm an Ag Ambassador... that's really the only reason I know )
    I'm sure I've seen him somewhere
