Just tie a fishermans knot (i think that's the name for it)

Here's how I do it, blurry pictures and all:

First I identify the part of the adjustable loop that is the start of the bury. Top part in this picture

Then I loop the string like so (I use 2mm string here but 550 paracord or a shoe lace or any piece of string will do just fine)

I losely wrap the string around itself and the whoopie away from the bury. About 3-4 times and thread the tying end into the loop that is formed.

Here I've started tightening the knot by pulling the right hand string

Really tight now, almost "sucking in" the tying end inside the knot

    Trim the end

Burn the ends of the trim. Needless t say, don't burn your whoopie

    Works perfectly!

You can also tie a paracord bead on there which is much cooler, but I didn't have any paracord... maybe next time

An over night hang is still a hang
...or you could put a zip tie on it. That's cooler though.

Scratchy, snaggy, pointy zip tie? I like (and am going to try) this method.
    Plus, knots!
