Thought this might be helpful. Attached are some pics of my ridge runner set up in the backyard with a cloudburst pole mod. The length of each pole is 78 inches. It is a standard Pole mod with 2-13 inch male poles added to each pole (4 extra in total).IMG_1623.jpgIMG_1625.jpg

Livin’ Large ~ Horizontally
Here are a few pictures from a Boy Scout outing in Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts this past weekend. This is using the Easton Aluminum Tent Pole set from eBay and the #4038 end tips from Quest Outfitters. I reconfigured the tent poles with two 18" sections, then the angled piece that comes in the set, and two more 18" sections. The shock cord that comes with the poles was a little big to tie around the end tips, so I used some 3/32" shock cord I had from another project. For about $30, this adds so much to the Cloudburst tarp. The space underneath is incredible now, and makes the tarp so much better. I may experiment with swapping two of the 18" sections with 13" sections to make it easier to carry the poles, but I highly recommend this type of setup.
