    Yaaaaay clap clap clap!

My favourite part is how you pick up and put your jacket on in the middle of a forward roll. You are such a hard worker

The only thing I ask of The Universe, is that I don't come back as one of your hammocks

Living with you, your little miss would either be a saint or the luckiest woman in the world! So far I haven't figured out which

I know I know, how about both! Your miss is like, "Give me some Shuga!"

It seems we're almost exclusively concerned with the strength of our suspension equipment. However it's also good to give some serious thought to the integrity of our tree, pole, pillar and the integrity of any associated root system or mortar.

Also consider what other things your pole is holding. For example your pole may also be holding up a heavy roof that weights several tonnes. If that pole gives way, you could have the whole roof structure come down on top of you!

A sad story. But without rebar bricks and mortar are great in compression but terrible in torsion/tension dread trees should be avoided at all costs. But idiots are out there, that's why we have the Darwin awards.

Didn't spread my hammock wide enough once and sat over it instead of into it. Landed on my head, concrete floor. Trip to the ER, CT scan. Fortunately, no damage. Lump on my head was visible like a cartoon.

So you basically missed the hammock altogether? lol sounds like you really went head over heels! You get the Dangerous Hammocker Award. Talk about a hammock accident alright! Is this what happens when you've been hammocking for so long you get complacent. "Oh I can just get in the hammock without spreadin' it".

LESSON NO. 1: Always respect the hammock.

I have Gadget, two days ago when undertaking my research for this question. In fact I wouldn't mind trying my hand at some Dangerous Hammocking when I get a bit of low-hanging experience under my belt, but without the injuries. It looks THRILLING! Maybe not right up into a tree, but I wouldn't mind hammocking over some large mossy rocks or something.
