The weather is looking great in WNC! Headed to Franklin in a bit to go hike from Tellico Gap to Winding Stair Gap starting Wednesday, getting back to Winding Stair fairly early on Friday. Then back to Franklin for the April Fools Hiker Bash at Ron Haven's Sapphire Motel. Anyone else going to the Bash?

Ed - I am sorry to say. Please remove me from the maybe attend list. My high hopes of attending have been dashed. We just had a big personnel shake-up at work. My work / vacation schedule has been turned upside down. My scheduled vacation days have been canceled and my work shift has changed also. So while you all are enjoying the hang. I will be stuck at work on the weekend shift. My hope now is to be able to get to the fall hang. I'll also look forward to reading a post hang report here on the forums.
Hooch..that would be great. Let me know when you find out and if you and Dancer will be hiking (I hike slow so be prepared). Once I know how many, I can start looking around for a ride.I might be up for this.Let me czech my schedule and I'll get back with ya on it.
Alright Ed, put me down as a maybe for now. Not too sure if I will want to make the drive or not though. I usually preffer to just walk there from GA, but that's not going on this year.

Well, we're down to only 16 days!I just gotta get through 5 days with my self-invited cousins coming from NY this Friday.
Haven't seen them in 20 yrs. and they call me up and say, "We're coming down to see you, get a room ready for us and my 3 kids."
