Is an asym tarp with an 11.5 ft length, long enough for a 12 ft hammock with an 11ft ridgeline? If not, what is the length I'd need?

I would go for a full 12 foot tarp. I have an 11 foot tarp to go with my 11 foot hammock and definitely wouldn't want to go any shorter. There's 10 or 11 inches overhang on each side, but those overhangs get shorten significantly when the rain's pouring down. Plus, when setting up in the rain you don't want to have to take extra time to center the tarp perfectly over your hammock.
What is your reasoning for wanting a shorter tarp?

First off, you are hanging that 12 foot hammock pretty tight if your SRL is 11 foot. That adds up to a 23° sag.
A lot of folk recommend starting with a SRL that is 83% of your hammock length, i.e. 10' SRL for a 12' hammock. That would give you a sag of 34°.
But HYOH, I guess.
As for the tarp, you need, at very least, 6" overhang at each end, but preferably nearer a foot at each end.
So, for a hammock with a 110" SRL (like a 11' with 34° sag), most folk recommend at least a 11' tarp (132").
Yep I definitely don't want to get rained on, and I want the drip cords to do their job.
The reason I asked is because I was looking at SLDs asym tarp. I do want lightweight and it's about 200 grams or bit under I think. And good price at $60. I also like that design where to goes to one tie-out on each side, you save material on the sides:

I use an 11' hammock with structrual ridgeline under an 11' tarp.

How much does an extra foot on that tarp weigh? I'm guessing it couldn't be more than one extra ounce. Personally, I'd have a dozen other places I'd rather lose the ounce than my tarp. Everything is a compromise of weight vs. comfort, and I'd prefer to go with an inch less on my underquilt or topquilt before losing a foot off of my tarp, but that's just me.
You're right, I said that length ridgeline as a safety margin, 90% angle. Actually I didn't realize till just now that there would be such a difference in ridgeline length between 90% and 83%. 83% would be a 10 foot ridgeline. So the 11.5 foot tarp might be ok in that case.
