my name is philipp and i am from vienna in the beautiful austria. i am 34 years old and new to this hammock camping and outdoors in general. just recently discovered that i like this sort of stuff
my gear is pretty basic, just a dd frontline, an unigear 3x3 tarp and a small 35l rucksack. still collecting and searching for new stuff!
i haven't done any major trips so far, only an overnighter. but it was glorious.the second one we had done was washed away by heavy rains and bad gear by my friends. they didn't bring any tarps or raingear (i did, since i watched loads of videos). so we had to pack up and head out
i found out about this forum by watching tons and tons of videos by Shug. thx for all your tips tricks and stories you put on youtube!
thats about it for now, looking forward to read the forum and getting to know new people!
