Sorry no, the fabric was from a UK kite building site, light weight rip stop was as much detail I received I would imagine it 1.1 oz or less. I weigh less than 12 stone, 168 lbs.

Opie really peeved mate, I got home tonight to find your package waiting, really looks good, I'll order up some new mat'l and get cracking on a
new bridge asap, may even try a Griss Poly microfibre this time.

I really want to try your dynaglide suspension system. I will try out your amsteel loops and smc rings you sent me next weekend, it will just be on my old DD hammock.

BTW Don't know what its like over the pond, but the ticks are out in force over here, picked up 8 embedded and 1 crawler this weekend, tiny little buggers, the SAK tweezers are perfect for removing them.

ouch. Dang Stephen, that's a pity. Does seem like it must be the fabric though.

practice makes perfect. Well, practice makes one better, and poorer.

I agree Grizz, point loads, ie turning on my side seemed to be my downfall, I guess I loaded one side (head end ) just a tad toooooo much.

Like I said the redesign of the reinforcement should solve the problem.

Yeah, another thing I'm realizing alot working with DIY hammocks, is this: It's very important to sew straight lines. Un-even sewing on stressed seams is a major fail point.
