If you are renting a car it wouldn't be too bad to fly into Tampa either if you can get a cheaper deal.

You can also fly into Daytona International and Sanford-Orlando airports. Both are a little closer and a whole lot less crowded. Also the traffic to campsite is much better to navigate through.

Getting really excited for HangCon 2018. Sleeping outside again tonight to test my CDT TQ/UQ whilst I tend to the smoker with the bird in it.

I have flown into both Orlando and Tampa for previous Hangcons in my experience the trip from Tampa to Doe Lake was easier but this may be because I avoid toll roads at all costs!! Tampa seems to be a little cheaper as well at least it was yesterday when I bought my ticket.

The name HangCon '18 is actually short for Hammock Hanging Convention <year>. We considered FlaHa but just the thought of lilricky in a skimpy bathing suit is more than we could bear...

So people hammocking is good to go, but banana hammocking is not. I just want to be sure and not violate any sacred rules of the park.
