Using the Becket Hitch to attach suspension to Hammock

I have a Sparrow on order (#5926) and I've decided to go with continuous loops and use the becket hitch to attach my webbing straps to it.
I've read a bunch of old posts and saw Derek Hansen's video on it. Has anyone used this method? Has anyone had it slip on them?
I might do a double becket hitch just in case...
    Thoughts????

You should be fine with it.
I use it all the time never had an issue or a slip.

Did you set up a few inches higher than normal? I read it stretches a little when loaded.

Just used it on a 12 night trip. Continuous loops and Kevlar straps.

    Loved it.

I actually used it today to hook two ratchet down straps together to get more length. I've always called it a double sheets bend. But my understanding is the difference is the sheets bend unites two lengths of cordage and the Becket attaches cordage to an anchored length of cordage. At least that is how I think it goes. The Becket is the recommended suspension knot for the latest version of the Hammocktent 90 degree Gamma UL hammock suspension as per Luke's website.

I used to use the Becket with mule tape to continuous loops. Works great but it can be a pain to adjust the length and dial in that perfect sag.

I solely use a becket hitch. Love it. Keep in mind to hitch it a little higher though. The knot does need to settle slightly when you get in it. It's not stretch though; it's just the knot tightening up.

J-bend is pretty fool proof and I prefer it over the Becket hitch

After I tie the becket hitch I tie an overhand knot with the hitch. Holds well.

Using the Becket Hitch to attach suspension to Hammock

Thanks for all the info! I'm currently using cinch buckles, but it will be nice to try a new system!
