My troop has been to the Creeper Trail several times over the years but we've always stayed at the Creeper Trail Campground, which we understand recently closed. Are there decent places along the trail to hang 10-12 hammocks? Thanks!

I camped at grayson highlands and rode down and back in one day. If you are set to camp I think you can disperse camp through the National forest sections of the trail. But it can be ridden in one day... no real need to camp imo.
