I am considering this suspension for a UL Becket hitch solution.
3.4 oz. for the entire suspension
15' dyneema straps
soft shackles
Ultra Light hammock suspension tree straps 15 long dyneema

I just realized this was the exact same suspension setup mentioned earlier in this thread.
Talk about redundant.
I ordered these dyneema straps from myerstechhammocklab and beetle buckles from Dutch.
so that is 3.4 oz. for the straps and soft shackle + .7 oz for the Beetle Buckles.
Light enough for me.
And simple.

"...in Florida, she felt air conditioning for the first time, and it was cold and unnatural upon her skin."
You'll have to decide just how ultralight you want to go. A thread-thru strap is going to be lightest, but are you willing to forego the convenience of being able to move your suspension up/down the tree, past that pesky branch, to get the perfect hangle, without de-rigging your hammock.
Having said that, soft shackles, although light, are not the ideal detachment system, as the require two hands to operate.
As an example, take this scenario. You have hung your hammock and it looks just right, you get your quilts rigged and get in.
But you find that it isn't perfect, although the sit height is just right, and you can reach all your cooking gear for a Shug-style "breakfast from the hammock", your SRL is twanging like a B-string on a banjo.
Quickest solution would be to slack off your suspension, but that would have your butt dragging in the dirt!
The other way is to move your suspension up the tree, past that pesky branch (then slack it some).
If you have a thread-thru system, you'll have to de-rig the whole kaboodle to get things done, but with a hook/karabiner/shackle in the system things get a mite simpler.
Except.... with a soft-shackle you need two hands to undo it. If you have a fully kitted hammock to hang on to, whilst you are undoing the soft shackle.... then you kinda wish you could grow a third hand!
