It will be great to see you and your teeth. I'm trying to remember how many years ago it was that we first met - I remember hiking with you and Kayak Karl going towards Apple Pie Hill. We stopped at the bridge over Skit Branch and you were both checking your GPS. I remember asking Kayak Karl, "Why are you using a GPS to figure out where you're going?" To which he replied, "I'm not using the GPS for where I'm going; I'm using it to document where I've been." Not being a GPS user, I still don't know what that means!

And Karl had me seriously fooled because he kept talking about Apple Pie "Mountain," which I could not find on any map (despite hours of searching). He said we would need ice picks and crampons and oxygen to reach the summit.
