Been using the Becket Hitch for a while.. Kevlar straps and now Dyneema straps.. It's really tough to untie once it's weighted, so I switched to the J-Bend... just as easy to tie and far easier untie.

The trick that Derek gives in this video is very helpful to untie a becket hitch after it's loaded.

Sure.. thanks. I've seen that. Kevlar still doesn't like the Becket hitch..

I don't have a problem with a Becket hitch and Kevlar straps. Relatively new hammocker, but I can't imagine a simpler suspension than a Becket hitch.
