The Pad selection "Q" ?

In house I have a Green Thermo wider longer Pad and a Rubber Blue waffled Pad from WM. I have never used a Pad and so far Speer universal UQ & TQ has done the job. Low temps about 38f +- without a sleeping bag. Which Pad? I plan a hang & fish North of Hwy 80 in Allegheny NF mid April. Right after the SS check arrives..

I would try them both at home, without the UQ, and pick a winner.

I second this. Test in the backyard first then decide which way is better.

My thoughts exactly, test at home. That way you can bail to the house or switch pads with ease. At home or near home, or pack both pads for your trip. Leave one in the car nearby?

Back Yard right.. I was going to bring along the UQ and use which Pad I chose for trying to get a better position in the night time hang. The 650 KLR is my means for transportation.. Knees wrecked and waltzing is zuged
