    No more WVhammockmaker!

I've got a new handle. It's "WV" (read as: "The Artist Formerly Known as "WVhammockmaker", but I'll answer to just plain WV).

And by way of introduction, I like to make my own equipment, using skills acquired sewing Frostline kits in the '70s and a long career as a kite builder. I love living in WV, and drink spring water from the Cranberry Wilderness year-round. My pack gets lighter as I hike; my dog's doesn't. Other interests are gardening and soccer (coaching, refereeing, and occasionally still playing). My ambition is to design the perfect camping hammock, or, failing that, to identify all the variables that make such an ideal impossible.

    See you on the trail.

Good to know you by any moniker, David. What about that other handle you were considering? I really liked that.

Great to meet you at Mt. Rogers. Liked seeing all that you made from Tyvek.

If you are interested in finding out how many ways you can use a Molly Mac Pack, pay attention to Dave. The pack he won at MAHHA has gotten a real workout! He's pretty resourceful...
