I grew that beard for you my friend.

I had a great time and so did my guests. I think we made a hanger out of Loser's main squeeze. Mahha is something I look fwd to twice a year. The food was great. I need to learn portion control. I loved looking at some of the new DIY setups. I always feel like a pretty girl at a high school dance at mahha.

Wonderful trip, I won a blow up pillow!! Got to sleep in two types a hammocks, discovered you can sleep with your head in the footbox of the Blackbird and be comfortable!!. Met some old friends met some new ones and of course learned more. Also have some great ideas. I have pictures posted and I will be posting more. Also check out my "Newbie in search of Hammock Part 3" on the General Forums area. As for those who loved my Rum cake and complimented me, my thanks, I will try to bring it each trip, though that was an Orange Rum cake, I think I want to try other flavors, Regular Rum, Lime, Coconut, etc... Thank you all for a wonderful time and training!!

    Thanks for a fun time

I have to admit I was a bit nervous going to my first hang but was made welcome and comfortable for the moment I pulled into the parking lot. It was a bit surreal to put faces and real people with HF names and posts but I quickly got past that and really enjoyed the conversations and shop talk. Special thanks to Memphis for pointing out a bad tree I initially tied to and to 2Q and Cranky Bear for helping me set my tree huggers higher and whoOpie slings at a steeper, more comfortable angle. Hope to make the fall hang!

    Keep the beard goin', Dutch!

To all those that make it to the hang......y'all suck. I ended up working all weekend long. I like the overtime, but I would've liked hanging better. Hope to make it up that way in the fall.

The Group shot really does have everyone that attended, minus The Dutchess, Loser and his GF Julie.

That was a fine time, folks! Thing1 and I enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

I have the first of several videos uploaded to YouTube. It's the Group Interview with WV Dave, first thing Saturday morning. Dave had more fascinating gear than anyone has seen in months of hanging!

It was great to see old friends and meet new ones at this Spring's MAHHA hang. A special thanks to Happy Camper for doing such a great job of running the raffle; to 2Q for again holding his Caldera Cone workshop at the pavilion...and for saving the day by constructing a spatula for the cookout; to Pedro and IAFTE for volunteering their chef skills to grill the burgers and dogs; to everyone, including the Jacks, who contributed amazing items for the raffle. Thanks also, to everyone who brought all of the incredible food and turned the Saturday night picnic into a banquet. Forgive me if I've forgotten someone or something.
Hope to see everyone at the Fall Hang.

I'm glad WV's site was discovered this year. He's had the good kit for ages, he's just reticent. I missed you guys this weekend!
