Ok, now that you're done messing with Dutch...
I would like to thank him for putting aside his skepticism and spending a cold night testing a two layer insultex underquilt. That was very kind of him, and I appreciate it very much!
BTW, he handed the UQs to me the next morning, and then apologized for wetting the bed!

I want to put out a special thank you to HappyCamper and Maple! Adia has been non stop talking about the hang and how sweet you two were to her (everyone else too), and the camera tag!
First things first; all hail The Jacks. These guys go way beyond what’s necessary and I can’t thank them enough. I was literally slack-jawed when Happy Camper called out my ticket number for the grand prize in the raffle (none of us ever win anything right?). The No Sniveller is an awesome piece of gear and I can’t wait to get it in the field again. Last night at home, I was looking closely at it and the details are where all the thought went. That is to say it is not just a nylon bag of goose down. Besides the slit in the middle that allows multiple uses from this single piece, I noticed that there are two grosgrain loops that are mounted asymmetrically to match the side tie-outs on my Hennessey. Too cool. It also has drawstrings at both ends and The Jacks included one of their suspension kits so I can use it as bottom insulation. If any of you out there are sitting on the fence trying to decide if you want to purchase one of their products, just do it. I own several other pieces from them and I know you won’t be disappointed with anything from JacksRBetter.com. I’m going to Trail Days so I’ll be able to personally thank them but in the meantime thanks Jack and thank you too Jack!
Kudos to the members that put this hang together, including Happy Camper, Bug Bait, and all the attendees that brought grills to cook on. That really helped a lot. Also thanks to the ticket pullers and fire tenders; great job gang!
Everyone to a person was friendly and extremely helpful which shouldn’t surprise me since I’ve been hanging around HammockForums for a while now. Thanks a lot 2Questions for helping me setup while it was raining; I would have gotten soaked if I did that on my own. The information sharing that goes on there is one of the site’s strongest points and that attitude carried over in spades at the MAHHA hang. As a newbie I am very appreciative of the help that is available.
I had a great time and met a lot of new acquaintances (too many new names to remember). Thanks again to all that had a hand in putting the hang together and I apologize for not being able to mention everyone by name.
See ya’ll at the next ‘hang’.
Ishmael
ps in the pics I’m the ‘butt’ with the green rain shell and the yellow ‘Go Play Outside’ cap.
pps Yo Boober! Wassup!!
The Jacks have been donating quite a number of quilts to these hangs over the years and you can always tell who wins the grand prize. It's the people with the biggest smiles on their faces! Congrats, ishmael !

Hope to make the fall hang!!!
