Turtledog stand with military mast poles for ridgepole

I have been considering making a stand 13+ ft long and wanted to use shorter connecting lengths for ridgeline so the total pkg will be no more than 6.5 ft long (leg length)
I currently own 4 sections of Alum military mast poles and when connected gives me 14.5 ft of ridgepole
has anyone used this before or suggestions?
I really like the Tato stand but cannot cover the cost these cost new.

    Thanks

Lots of good info in this thread. My RL pole is modular and breaks down into manageable pieces. My post and pics are down the page a bit.

I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

Do a search in the diy section for aluminum military surplus pole stand. It’s a large thread with tons of info. Made an entire stand myself from them, lashed the legs together with paracord and 4 poles for the ridge pole to fit my ridgerunner.

i saw a couple but thought 4 ft height was too short for a 13+ foot ridgepole
Glad to know you used 4 poles for ridgeline

The military mast poles join - so you are a bit over 7.6 ft for the tripod pole lengths.
As they are angled, heights can vary, but I would assume a bit under 6ft high for the ridge pole height.

    Thx
    i was thinking only 1 pole high--duh
i have 8 poles total so will need 8 more (using 4 for ridge) or make legs from maybe 2 x 3 lumber 7 ft high?
I have some thinking on this one

Used 2 poles for each leg. 16 poles for the entire stand. Whole stand breaks down to 4 foot lengths and packed into a "Ozark trails 10 x 10 pop up canopy" bag I had left over when a bad wind storm destroyed the canopy.

Add the snap buttons shown in a few of the threads. they hold the sections together when you rearrange tripod legs etc.

If you put the male/female ends together and use a jig for uniformity, all of the sections will be interchangeable.
