Welcome DB. You'll love hanging with your daughter. Last night was my boy's (10 yr. old) first hang. We were getting everything set up he stopped me and said, "I really love spending time with you." My first thought was that he has never said that to me when we were playing Wii. So in my book, hammocks are the greatest thing in the world!
How far is Ardmore from OKC? We are spending a couple of weeks there in June. And we want to hang for a night or 2. Maybe you and the daughter can join us for an overnight hang??

That is so funny! That is about the same way I came across hammocks, by Shugs videos I mean. I was doin alot of bushcraft research online and came across Shugs tarp talk on youtube. I wonder how many people are hammockin today because of Shugs videos? Welcome to HF!
