Just wondering what is the lightest cord that yall use.
It doesn't have to have any huge strength, just abrasion resistant and thinish. This will be use as the lines to pull up the underlayer on my Bridge hammock.
Thanks

BPL Air Core. Probably more spendy than you need for that application since it isnt' really load-bearing. It's definitely strong and light, though.

IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER
Also, you could go to Kmart or Wal Mart and look in the fishing section for fishing line. Some of the heavier, thicker line is pretty inexpensive and plenty strong enough.
Also, look at chalk line at Lowes or Home Depot. 100 ft for $3.00, 270 ft for $6.00 or 500 ft for $10.00 at Lowes.
Would probably be strong enough to lift an under quilt
One thing to consider is if you are going to retie knots in it. I have some small air core that is really hard to retie knots in. Resembles dentail floss to me.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".
thanks very much for the tips fellas

hey, ive noticed slick lines like spectra and vectran pull real "smooth like" over metal like a ring or biner' you can get a spool of spectra twine in two different strengths from aps.ltd.com, you gotta buy alot, but it comes out to be a real good deal, and you can always find a use for light strong line.

The Speer no tangle guy line is another option. It's like .20 per foot.

BPL Aircore or any of the BPL spectra lines.
