    New WBBB XLC on order

So I ordered my first real hammock I can't wait until it gets here!
So I'm going to use a pad for a while but will eventually be looking for an underquilt.
Now I know Warbonnet has them but my question is am I limited to certain designs or will any underquilt fit?

I’d give a serious eye to the Wookie if I was starting from scratch but generally most all UQs will work.

I use the JRB Greylock 3 with mine,

They are sold on here quite frequently.

So there are no issues with sleeping at an angle or the cut of this particular hammock and having a rectangular underquilt?

The XLC is similar in shape to other gathered end hammocks and the UQs are built to fit them. The Wookie is specifically is built for the Blackbird/XLC but some have reported getting it to fit other hammocks with some tweaks.

I've found the Wooki to be a no-brainer on the XLC.

Other quilts will fit - but none as well as the Wooki.

I tried my hammock gear incubator on one and the fiddle factor was really high. I personally would stick with something from warbonnet, they’re made for it, and they just make sense.
