The XLC and the Wookie, are like peanut butter and jelly, peas and carrots, bacon and eggs.

HG Incubator. Not difficult. I read the instructions, that came with it, and it fits perfectly.
I aslo found a cool thread about it here, somewhere.
    And of course, Shug's video.
Only 2 adjustments, and a sliding position.
Easy peasy, and I am a newb.

    I roast coffee at home.

Yes, I looked at them. I think that may be the reason I am asking this question. I just wanted to see if there were limitations for this particular hammock.

There are limitations for every item.
Some that own the Wookie, I hear them ask.... Why did they use a rubber band? Is that the best they could do for the design?

I like my HG Incubator, when used correctly.
My 1st night I had the foot end s-biner on the wrong side at my foot end, and the right side shockcord slipped to a position below my knee. I got cold feet. MY FAULT. When I corrected that, all was good.

I adjust the right/foot side more towards the end, and the left/head side more towards the end.
Is that not some kind of parallelogram?
It is then modular and adjustable so the user is the one responsible for getting it right. I see that as an UQ more useful in more applications.
Left or right lay for example.

If you sleep cold, and if you don't like pressure on your head or feet, the Wooki is the answer. Over the years I have used different underquilts, including several Incubators. Before the Wooki was introduced, the Incubator was my go-to underquilt. If HG would make an Wooki-style Incubator, that would likely be my favorite. But I could never get any underquilt with shock cord suspension to lie half as flush against the hammock as the Wooki. I always had air bubbles which decreased the performance. And the tighter you make the suspension to pull the Incubator better against the hammock, the more the shock cords try to push you inline. I always hated that. The only advantage the Incubator has over the Wooki (apart from the leg shelf, which is set off by the way more economical shape of the Wooki) is that you can switch directions.
