I am planning on heading out somewhere this Sat, probably just Mohican. It is technically December lol. I have a 0 degree set but it looks like I will be fine with my 20 this week. It is supposed to be nice.

I am ok with Mohican.
Hey HP, txt me so I have your number.
Guerilla hang coming up.
I may be able to make the weekend of the 11th (16/17) and/or maybe the 25th (30/31).
Probably quick overnights so Mohican for me.
This is the same hang that was texted earlier today right?
Looks like I'm just gonna head out on Wednesday the 13th. It's about the peak of the Geminid meteor shower, there's a waning gibbous moon, and the weather seems decent. I'm hoping to fall asleep watching a few meteors. Anyone one who can make a mid week hang is welcome to join me.
Probable head to Mohican if I go alone, but am flexible....I might check to see where the darkest site in Ohio is....Chemguy?
If you can't make it, I hope you all get out sometime this month and test your rigs in the cooler weather!

Glouster Ohio comes up as one of the darkest . Wildcat hollow maybe a good choice.
visualize whirled peas.
Most of the south western corner of the Wayne National Forest, Hocking Hills and that area is considered "Dark" for astronomy. The AEP lands south east of Zanesville are also Dark.
I belong to the Columbus Astronomical Society and they have a couple acre dark sit in the AEP lands, and it is fantastically dark there. We can use Conkles Hollow (Hocking Hills) after dark as well.
The darkest you will be able to get and still be within a few hour drive of Columbus will be the other-side of Parkersville, WV.
However, other than a few bright farm/property lights the field north of the north Mohican parking lot is very good on a clear night.

Thanks, guys! Hopefully, I'll get a few.

I can't make anything this month but I am already thinking about a January hang. I have heard 9 and 10 are good hnging sites at Mohican, any others that would work, even for two or three hangers?
