    You also don't need high resolution for the web, 72 dpi is plenty.

    I use Picasso 3, a free photo and video program from Google to organize and clean-up all of my files. This program also let's you resize your photos and keep the originals, which is what I do so I can post the ones I want here. It also allows you to resize a group of photos, rather than one at a time.
