Here you go. First attempt at attaching a picture so let’s see if it works.

Very simple and basic underquilt. It retains the sewn through seams that come with the stock quilt thus only good for the high 50s
Had been a while since I made this so i had forgotten exactly what I did in my original post. The quilt from Costco is 70"x60". All I did is cut off a 3 (I think) rows to make it 70"x48" then sew on the channels and add the shock cord. Since the Costco is 16oz stock, removing the 3 rows and adding the channels and shock cords made it a little over 16 oz. Not bad for $25 or so.

I'm "borrowing" your list, because I have the exact same projects. My son has decided he all in with hammocks, so gear for him. My wife is 'hammock-curious' so a limited set for her.

    My winter projects:
    - 2 faux-baffled CDT UQs with shock cord clews
    - 2 down TQs, made from an enormous bed quilt
    - hooded down jacket with lotsa pockets (salvage down from a too-big, too-warm puffer)
    - down sleeping bootees (also from the puffer)
    - campsite bootee covers (materials TBD)
    - hooded rain poncho & gaiters (replace "borrowed" ones)
    - 2 indoor GE guest hammocks ("premium" cotton from tableclothsfactory.com)
    - knitted & felted wool kitty baskets (for mine and for friends; wool yarn from my stash)
    - resurrect past unfinished projects from the darkest depths of the closet

I'm planning on holding it to a CDT convo to a camp chair UQ [with a integral UQ protector and interior emerg Blanket reflector as backing], and a down scarf outta the cutz.
I keep the house temps pretty low all Winter and wear a toque and a scarf most days... LL-GP TQ on the bed.
For the chair quilt, I figure that overkill is fine since it's for car camping, not carry-along, and condensation ain't an issue around the fire ring. Should be wind-proof.

Found I had some neoprene... might make the GE from that although not sure what the weight rating on neoprene is. Either way meant for a kid and might end up more as a gear storage and a lounging hammock.

It was men's size XXL, my brother wore it once and said he felt like the Michelin Man. I took it apart yesterday. I don't have a scale to weigh the down, but I'm sure there's plenty to fill a medium-size jacket and 2 pair bootees. I'll also re-use the 2-way front zipper and 2 pocket zippers. Haven't decided yet what fabric to use.

I've got three Zipper Pouch kits from RBTR ready to make. Those are actually for winter safety kits for in cars. I also have a large tarp (12' x 16') that I've just barely started, and would like to make some more progress on that. That one's just for having general coverage when canoe camping and weight is less of an issue.

Looks sweet man! Might try my hand at one since I do want a chest rig type element
