Just wanted to share my recent trip to Linville Gorge, completing the Is That All Ya Got Loop - 22 challenging miles but worth the effort

Good video. I've been looking at this loop the last couple of weeks for a possible January trip, but I think I might wait until a little warmer weather to lighten my load for the climbs (and I don't want to chance slipping on ice). I'm sure that I would be fine, but I might see if I can find a Gorge Rat who is interested in showing a first timer the way.

Another great video! Keep them coming. Hit me up with a pm sometime if you want some company on one of these trips. I am in south Charlotte and by all accounts we frequent many of the same areas. Did the itag as an overnight (ccw) a couple years back. Spence across the river down the LGT over leadmine and up shortoff to edge of the gap day one. Then to back to the car day 2 ...whew...makes me tired just thinking about it. Those gorge miles...

I passed a group of 4 up on shortoff day 1, and then had 3 day hikers pass through camp that night, after that I didn’t see a soul.

I will do that, feel free to do the same with me, I’m always looking for hiking partners. Although, if you are doing things like hiking the ITAYG loop as an overnighter I don’t think I can keep up with you
