Hello, my name is Sean from the Washington metropolitan area of Maryland. I've been following the posts for a while, and decided to finally join the Forum.
I've been hiking/exploring most of my life. Switched to a hammock a little over 3 years ago, after watching a few of Shug and Hickory's trip videos from the Linville Gorge, and being surrounded by wolf spiders and grass spiders while tent camping in western Maryland!

Welcome from right up 95 in Cecil County! I live right on the bay so I know EXACTLY what you mean about being surrounded by spiders! Its so bad, its kind of a running joke with me and the rest of the forum lol. Im always looking for help doing trail maintenance on t he section of the Mason Dixon Trail thats up my way and am always organizing clean up hike events that end with a group hang down on my beach just a few miles from the trail head. If your ever interested let me know, the more the better! Or if you ever wanna just get out to hike on the trail and hang, I'm always looking for an excuse ! Welcome to the forum, no question is a dumb question,the search function is great and happy hanging!! Oh,, and BEWARE! This can get extremely addicting so good luck! Lol
