I have vented my Wooki. I use a 0° +2oz overfill year round at home (indoors), and when temps reach about 80°, it can be a bit warm. As suggested, I simply added a small loop so that there is a fingerbreath of space between the Wooki and me. Works for me. Though I have to admit that normal underquilts are a bit colder when vented.
Shug, I watched about 10 of your videos today haha. I just saw this comment. Thanks so much for reaching out and replying. I am rebuilding a system for myself mentally before I purchase my gear. I gave a lot of my personal possessions away and have missed getting out in the wildlife sleeping in a hammock and making a fire. I had a few hammocks and nice underquilt and all kinds of options so given my tight budget I am reweighing every option and reason for having it now. I needed your various shug insights to the question why. I have to get on a group hang and enjoy hammocking again with some great folks. I’m up in Michigan and hope to connect with some of ya. It would be neat to catch a juggling unicycle riding banjo playing, ok there too many skills to list...SHUG!
