Just received confirmation for Gator Hole on New Years weekend. Meet at the McNeil trail head on 471, on Friday the 29th. We'll call it my birthday hang, if you want, but I just need to get back in the woods.So lets ring in the new year by the fire! Hope some can make it.

This just may be a sherpa deal for me. Gotta rig the baby stroller, Olddog gave me, somehow. Thinking a small cooler and cast iron skillet meals on the fire.Oh, and definitely bring that 1792 bomber!!

I was contemplating freezing some ice in my small cooler and bringing that for the sipping bourbon. Guess I'll get that started today.

Sherpa pulled out of the barn, tires feel tight, ice making in the freezer. Four bourbons for our tasting pleasure.

Might even throw in some Cigar City Maduro Brown Ale to wash down the steaks.
