Is it just me or did the shipping costs double? I swear shipping was always under $4 and now it's over $7. I mean i know a pair of Flys are heavy but i didn't think they would be that heavy.

"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters.”

Shipping, handling, packaging etc. Plus each January postage goes up.
I grump everytime I need some little piece. I know I could ship for under a dollar. However, I do not have a staff to pay for their time to prepare and ship tiny items.
WHO I purchase from has the cost of shipping factored in. I also deal with vendors who ship my entire order instead of forgetting one or two little parts.

Yea, that does seem a bit expensive. My pain limit on shipping small items is around the $5-$6 range after than I look elsewhere. You'll just need to keep a list and buy more per order or just buy more stuff
I grumble a bit too but I’m also emphatic. I wish there was free shipping with a minimum order amount like there used to be on the MYOG website. Free shipping tends to be a deal maker for me sometimes that’s why I purchase a lot of DIY items on RSTBR.

“The word hammockable (Meaning: two trees that are the perfect distance apart between which a hammock can be hung) is not in the dictionary, but it should be.”
Call them directly, with them upgrading the website last week there’s at least the possibility that your postage was calculated incorrectly.
"...in Florida, she felt air conditioning for the first time, and it was cold and unnatural upon her skin."
Not sure this applies here. The two tarp flies weigh a total of 4 grams.
Technically this could be done with an envelope and a stamp. Not standard first class parcel service. If he paid $7 then he was overcharged. I would email them, Dutch always makes it right (or explains to you why you're wrong ).

The problem was actually on USPS's end. Our site contacts USPS and they were only giving the option of priority for all the packages no matter what the weight was. We have it resolved and if you have a case like this, please contact us and we will refund the difference.
