    Colorado hangers

Hey guys, I just moved to CO yesterday. Colorado Springs area. Looking for hangers who know the area. If anyone wants to hike/hang/camp I am game. Hoping to squeeze every drop out of the beautiful Rocky Mountains while I am here

Welcome jdeering, welcome to Colorado. Are you here to stay or just a TDY. What is your schedule like. I assume your working weekday?
I don't know any Springs hangers sorry and our front range group that used to do open group hangs kind of disolved. The places we used to go became a hassle.
Too many drugies moving here for access to rec pot with no jobs they try to live in the forests and parks. So the state made a bunch of stupid pre registration rules for overnight camping.

Do you have full on winter hammock gear? I can recommend some places you might enjoy. I have lived on the front range for over 30 years and there aren't many places I haven't visited.
Do you Ice fish or mtn bike?

You really get around! I'm sure the scenery is a lot better now compared to Texas. Are we going to see you back here in Michigan at GT?

I am self employed, will be here at least a year. I don’t mtn bike or ice fish but I am not afraid to try! I am alright with traveling some hours to get to other places in the area as well
