    MassDrop Ultimate Hammock straps

    Hey guys,

Saw these were recently put as an active drop here
    https://www.massdrop.com/buy/ultimate-hammocks-straps

I'm quite happy with the ones that came with my chameleon, but always interested in knowing what people think of other products.

The section that is 1 inch wide is too short. You'll run into issues when dealing with thicker trees. I'd suggest just buying from Dutch. It'll save you from having to wait the long Massdrop delivery time and sometimes they are not reliable.

I have two sets and I use them all the time. They are light weight, very strong, well made and pretty versatile. I often just becket hitch the end to my hammock loops. I've used the loops to hang my empty pack at the end of the hammock to keep it in out of the rain. The weaving between loops has held up well, too. The wide part is big enough to go around an 18" diameter tree. I carry extensions for places where I expect larger trees, anyway.
