I find that with a DualFuel burner, I can in most conditions heat up 2 cups of water with a half ounce of alcohol or bring it to a boil with a bit more alcohol, generally less than 3/4 ounces. Burn times and rate of fuel consumption are similar to other unpressurized alcohol burners. All of this will vary a bit with ambient temperature, wind, and starting temp of the water. This review may be helpful. He is discussing the smaller DualFuel that holds up to 0.75 oz. I bundle the larger DualFuel "XL" in the Special Deal Kit.

I just ordered the smaller one, perfect size for what I’m expecting to need. This is a great deal, especially for someone like me looking to move into alcohol. Did you put the DualFuel XL in with the smaller pot as well? How much fuel does it hold?
