Thanks to everyone for a needed awesome weekend. It was nice to see some faces i recognized from last year and to meet some new faces. I want to thank specifically you folks that put this on for all of us newbies. I was able to convince my misses, Amanda, and my buddy JB to brave the arctic cold front and both had great time.
I personally want to thank the venders- Dutch, RBTR, Batchstovez, and who ever provided Ed Speers book, and the Battery Backup. With out you, my raffle night would have turned out different.
Thanks again.
This was my first HangCon and I was very impressed with the community feeling and effort that made this a class act. I'd like to say thank you to Timberr and Gumbo and everyone else that made it a success. Special thanks to all the venders that contributed to the raffle that raised money for a worthy cause. A personal thanks to Sierra Madre for the Solo hammock I won in the raffle. My son and I are already talking about going back next year.
It was a great weekend, especially since this Florida boy got to test some winter gear, something I don't get to do very often. My family was a little suprised when I came home with a new canoe. Thanks and I'll put it to good use when island camping next month.
Another great hang for the books! Friendly people amazing food pretty decent weather, all that and really good moonshine to boot!
