Pulling Quilt Over Your Head

My reason for hiding under the covers is to rest my eyes while catching up on news and research via Internet. The warmer air and minimal air flow seems to be easier on the eyes. A gap for fresh air seems to help thanks to this thread. EDIT: Android's Twilight app is great for this.

I can't remember the last time I slept with blankets over my head since breathing is so difficult..

I am currently reading this thread on my phone under my top quilt in my living room. I may have to get up to get some more popcorn though....

Okay, okay, I guess I have to own up and fess up that when my wife was alive I use to hide under my sleeping bag hood and watch Netflix on a tablet while hanging out in the dogtrot. Never was brave enough to do popcorn though.

As I stated in my earlier post on this thread I have an extra long TQ so that when I am on the ground I can cover my head and exhale away from the sleeping area onto the ground and not over my quilt. The only other advantage that I can see to covering ones head is when you want to cover your eyes at daybreak in order to get that last bit of sleep. I have never been one to read after dark or under a cover myself. I can understand both sides of this thread but I would have to admit that I would have to agree that breathing onto, into, or under the top quilt would not be beneficial enough in my opinion for the risk of excessive moisture no matter what the quilt is made of. For this very same reason I do not urinate from or in my hammock as many do. Even if you can reach half way to the ground one strong gust of wind and your simply covered in pee
